Working towards a positive mental state, having purpose and fulfilment, and promoting physical health are key components of wellbeing.

Maroon Outdoor Education has always focussed on developing personal, group and social wellbeing. In these challenging times it is vital that we all continue to develop and promote a healthy and positive mindset.

4 priorities have been developed in the Breathing Space program to enrich, challenge and engage young people and support teacher, parents and care-givers...

Why?

Working towards a positive mental state, having purpose and fulfilment, and promoting physical health are key components of wellbeing. So, in working towards promoting wellbeing amongst students, staff and wider communities we are focussing on the key areas of Gratitude, Sustainability and Challenge. These areas are central to the regular work that we do here at MOEC, and now are available in your classroom and home for you to access whenever you want.

Wellbeing is a state in which every individual realises his or her potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.
